Welcome to our new website!

Jenkins is proud to present our new website.  The site has been redesigned to make it more attractive, accessible and useful to our members. What you are seeing is only the first phase of a vastly improved online experience. As we complete new features, we will highlight them in this space.

Our homepage welcomes users with bold new colors and a clean uncluttered design. Members can login at the top of the page for easy access to their benefits. The new Spotlight feature will continually update users with important news and announcements. Upcoming classes are prominently displayed so you always know what is happening at the library. The simplified site navigation makes it easier for you to locate and use our services. 

Some of the site enhancements include:

Member Center – enables a member to view and access all databases and services available to them.  All resources will be in one place on our site, eliminating the guesswork in determining membership benefits. The beauty of the “Member Center” is only having to input last name and member number once to access all benefits.

Live Chat – members can chat with our librarians in real time. Live Chat is accessed from the “Member Center”. 

Shopping Cart – our secure system allows users to pay for classes and to make a donation to Jenkins.

Register for Classes Online – all website users are able to register for our CLE classes online, 24/7 and pay for them using our new shopping cart.

Pennsylvania Legislative Histories – this redesigned database allows members to view our extensive legislative histories collection.  Additionally, most histories from 1994 onward will arrive as text-searchable PDFs.

Improved Website Searching – our search engine is powered by Google, giving you faster and more accurate results.  Additionally, we have integrated the site and catalog search to give you one place to search both.

Overhauled Research Links and Resource Guides –After analyzing usage statistics, we have pared down our librarian-analyzed links to provide visitors with the most essential topics. Our librarians are also creating “How to” Resource Guides on various topics.

Future enhancements will include:

Court Records & Briefs Index – the new design will allow members to see a preview of the content already in electronic format before placing an order and, in some cases, purchase and receive a document online, instantly.

Purchase a Membership Online – non-members will be able to purchase a membership online 24/7 and use that membership immediately to access member-exclusive databases.

Online Membership Renewal – some members will be able to renew their membership online, 24/7.
