Jenkins On Your Desktop: Philadelphia Newspapers on NewsBank

Jenkins members can search the Philadelphia Inquirer back to 1981 and the Philadelphia Daily News back to 1978 on NewsBank, a membership database available to all Jenkins members.

Other Philadelphia newspapers on NewsBank include the Chestnut Hill Local (2003 - present), the Metro-Philadelphia (2005 - present), the Northeast Times (2000 - present), the Philadelphia City Paper (2006 - present), and the Philadelphia Tribune (2008 - present). NewsBank also includes local college papers, like The Daily Pennsylvania: The University of Pennsylvania (1991 - present), The Hawk: St. Joseph's University (2012 - present), Student Vangaurd: Community College of Philadelphia (2011 - present), and The Temple News: Temple University (2005 - present).

To access this collection, use your last name and member number to log into Jenkins' website. From the Member Center, select NewsBank. Once in NewsBank, select USA - Pennsylvania from the Search Shortcuts in the middle of the screen. To access Philadelphia newspapers, use the filter option box located above the list of publication titles and type in Philadelphia.
