U.S. State Package Upgrade

  •

HeinOnline recently announced an enhancement to their U.S. State Package, which now offers unprecedented access to historical state information. This upgrade includes a brand-new database and new indexing for all state session laws from inception to date.

In the new U.S. Political & Legal History database, you can find an array of titles tailored to each state's history and development. The collection is browsable to the state level, offering content that highlights each state's unique legal, social, geographic, and economic history.

        • Read contemporary accounts of Leo Frank’s trial and conviction
        • Explore the history of the prohibition movement in the Golden State
        • Drill into casebooks on Texas’ oil and gas industry
        • Review speeches circulated by abolitionist organizations in antebellum Massachusetts

In the updated U.S. Session Laws Library, all 50 states and U.S. territories are now fully indexed at the chapter or act level. Now you can also easily find the exact chapter, act, or page you need with the Session Laws Quick Locator tool. Just select a state, enter the year and chapter/act, and jump directly to the starting page in seconds.
