Finding Pennsylvania Orphans' Court Forms
Many of the forms used in Orphans' Court are standard across all 67 Pennsylvania counties and are available for free as PDF downloads on the court's website. So the next time you need forms for practice in Orphans' Court, first check the website for the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania. These include forms related to audit and administration, guardianship, register of wills, and more.
It may also be beneficial to check the county's website. For example, the forms available on Philadelphia Courts' website include a number of forms under the "Court of Common Pleas Orphans' Court" heading. Click the plus sign (+) next to each Orphans' Court sub-heading to see the full list of forms available for that topic. Over 50 forms are available, including multiple petitions for adjudication, several different account filing checklists, various inventory forms, and more.
Looking for forms not available on the courts' websites? Try Dunlap-Hanna Pennsylvania Forms, available on the library's Lexis computers and in print. The chapters on Register of Wills and Orphans' Court Procedures include "Administration of Estates", "Inventory, Accounts and Distributions", "Pleadings", "Depositions, Discovery and Production of Documents", "Auditors and Masters", "Absentees and Presumed Decedents", "Real Property Transactions", and more.
