Learn more about changes to the PEF Code
Act of July 8, 2016, No. 79 (generally effective 1/1/2017 with one exception) includes changes affecting many areas of the Pennsylvania Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries Code including jurisdiction, rules of interpretation, determination of title to decedent's interest in real estate, powers of attorney, powers of appointment and nonjudicial settlement agreements in trusts. Need to learn more? Check out Act 79: Omnibus Changes to the PEF Code by PBI, which was just added to Jenkins' collection. It offers a great summary of the act and also includes information about changes to powers of attorney that were made by the Act of October 4, 2016, No. 103.
