Pennsylvania Law Encyclopedia in the LexisNexis Digital Library

The Pennsylvania Law Encyclopedia, one of the go-to legal encyclopedias for Pennsylvania attorneys, is accessible to Jenkins' members on their desktops through the LexisNexis Digital Library!  Once you have signed into jenkinslaw.org and accessed the LexisNexis Digital Library, type Pennsylvania Law Encyclopedia in the Advanced Search box.  Any available volume of the 55+ volume set may be borrowed and viewed digitally in a browser.  Members may borrow up to 5 volumes at a time, and the loan period is 7 days.  The Pennsylvania Law Encyclopedia offers a great overview of legal topics from 'Actions' to 'Workers' Compensation', and our librarians recommend starting with the PLE when researching an unfamiliar area of law.

Our how-to videos are a great way to learn more about using the LexisNexis Digital Library through Jenkins.  Using LexisNexis Digital Library, Part 1:  Managing Your Bookshelf covers the basics of finding and checking out volumes.  Using LexisNexis Digital Library, Part 2:  Reading and Annotating offers tips on highlighting, bookmarking and writing notes as you research.  The best way to read these ebooks is in your browser - no downloads, software, or apps required!  But for those who wish to view an ebook on a device, like an iPad, Kindle Fire, or other tablet computer, Using LexisNexis Digital Library, Part 3:  Downloading provides tips on how to download the LexisNexis ebook.

The LexisNexis Digital Library is a membership database available to all Jenkins' members.  For help using this or any of the member databases, contact us at 215.574.1505, research@jenkinslaw.org, or chat with us.
