Federal Register on HeinOnline
HeinOnline has the Federal Register from the first volume, published in 1936, to the most current pages available. Hein updates the Federal Register on a daily basis. The Federal Register Library on HeinOnline includes the Federal Register, the Federal Register Indexes, the C.F.R., the C.F.R. List of Sections Affected, and the C.F.R. Compilation of Sections Affected.
Once in Hein, from the Subscribed Collections list on the left side select Federal Register Library. Hein defaults to a browse option for the Federal Register. This is useful if you are looking for a particular citation. Clicking the plus sign next to Federal Register will list all available volumes of the Federal Register in reverse chronological order. To search the Federal Register, click on the Search tab below the HeinOnline logo. The search box will appear on the left side of the screen. This basic search will search all materials included in the Federal Register Library, including the Federal Register and the C.F.R. To search just the Federal Register, click on "Advanced Search" or "Field Search" and select Federal Register from the title list. The search results will include results from all volumes of the Federal Register. To limit the search to a specific volume or range of volumes, restrict the search by date.
