Andrew Christy, Esq.
Andrew Christy is an attorney at the ACLU of Pennsylvania who largely works on issues involving financial penalties and debtors' prisons in the criminal justice system, as well as matters of open government and public transparency.
Andrew is a 2012 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, and his undergraduate degree is in political science and women’s studies from the University of Delaware. After law school, Andrew clerked for a state court judge in northern Virginia and a federal magistrate judge in Washington, D.C. From 2014-2016, he was a fellow at the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, where he worked on a variety of disability rights issues.
