Children and the Law in a Nutshell, 7th Edition

This newly updated and recently released edition of Children and the Law in a Nutshell is now available on West Academic Digital Library.  

This edition covers "the meaning of "parent," civil and criminal abuse and neglect, the foster care system, adoption, medical decision-making, support and other financial responsibilities, protective legislation, and delinquency".  Also integrated into this edition is "the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on child protection, foster care and juvenile justice systems".  

Chapters include, "Defining the Child-Parent Relationship", "Criminal Abuse and Neglect", "The Status, Rights, and Obligations of Children", "Financial Responsibility and Control" and "Regulation of Children’s Conduct".
