Pennsylvania Court Rules on Pacode.com

Because the Pennsylvania state court rules are included in the Pennsylvania Code, you can find them online at Pacode.com. Pacode.com includes both browsing and searching options. If browsing, the court rules are found in the following titles: Title 210 Appellate Procedure, Title 225 Rules of Evidence, Title 231 Rules of Civil Procedure, Title 234 Rules of Criminal Procedure.

If searching for a court rule on Pacode.com, a search can be done in all titles or in one title.

Pacode.com does use Boolean searching. Boolean connectors, like AND, OR, NEAR, and AND NOT should be in all caps. Use an asterisk (*) to find words with the same prefix, and use quotation marks to find a direct phrase. See their Search Tips page for the full list of acceptable Boolean operators.

For example, if you want to see the Rules of Criminal Procedure dealing with the waiver of a jury trial, search Title 234 for waive* AND "jury trial". This search returns six results which may be of interest.
