The Basics of Environmental Law for the Solo Attorney (Webinar)

Our free CLE webinars are available to Jenkins members only. Join Jenkins today to enjoy this member benefit and more!

If you represent a small business, local municipality, landowner, or a real estate buyer or seller, you should plan to attend this one-hour CLE webinar to learn the essentials of state and federal environmental law.

This class will introduce you to some of the more common environmental issues that non-environmental lawyers come across in their practices: environmental due diligence and defenses under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA, commonly known as Superfund), basics of "Act 2" -- the Pennsylvania voluntary "brownfield" cleanup program, regulation of wetlands, construction stormwater, environmental justice, and how to get help when you need it.

Provider:
Jenkins Law Library, an accredited provider under the Pennsylvania CLE Board's Rules, will serve as the CLE provider for this course. The course has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.0 hour of CLE credit in substantive law, practice and procedure.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.0 hour of total CLE credit.
