Jenkins On Your Desktop: Statistical Abstract of the United States on HeinOnline
World Population Day, observed on July 11, was first established in 1989 by the United Nations to bring awareness to the rapidly growing world population and the accelerated decrease in mortality rates. In the United States, the Statistical Abstract of the United States, published by the U.S. Census Bureau, compiles statistical data on U.S. population, health and nutrition, education, labor and employment, income, business enterprises, transportation, arts and recreation, and more. It also includes some international statistics that compare the U.S. to other countries.
To access the Statistical Abstract of the United States, use your last name and member number to log into Jenkins' website. From either the Member Center or the list of Member Databases, select HeinOnline.
