NLM's New Mobile Drug Information Portal

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) recently launched a mobile version of its Drug Information Portal. The Portal is a free Web resource that provides an informative and user-friendly way to access current drug information on over 32,000 drugs.  The type of information provided includes consumer health information about the drug, clinical trials involving the drug, the drug’s physical properties and structure, and PubMed biomedical literature about the drug.  To use the portal, first search for the drug then choose Information Links to access drug information from MedlinePlus, the approved drug label from DailyMed, and scientific references from PubMed.

Users accessing the Portal via their smart phones are automatically taken to the mobile version of the site.
